Fereshta Islamzada, also known as Fifi, is a third-year computer science student attending the University of Virginia. Throughout her time in Charlottesville, Fereshta has actively participated in various community and academic organizations. Some include Fellow for the Meriwether Lewis Institute for Citizen Leadership, Head Manager for the UVA Women's Basketball team, and Vice President for the Afghan Student Association. In addition to her academic pursuits, Fereshta has launched her own photography business, named FlixbyFifi. She is very enthusiastic to to explore her creativity and amplify the voices of student-athletes through her involvement with UNCUT this year.
