Degen Miller is a third-year student majoring in Media Studies while pursuing minors in both French and Art History. Degen is from Boulder, Colorado, and is a forward on the Women’s soccer team. Since arriving at UVA, she has joined the Student Athlete Leadership Academy, which has allowed her to engage with nonprofits in the Charlottesville community and develop leadership skills through various guest speaker lectures. Degen joins Uncut as a junior and is excited to use her passion for creativity and her background in media studies to shed light on the experiences and interests of student athletes.
