Alexandra "Xas" Morgan is a fourth year Foreign Affairs major from Chicago, IL. As an athlete on the University of Virginia Field Hockey team, athletics and her identity as a student-athlete have always played an integral role in her life. She has been a member of the u17, u19, and most recently u21 USA Field Hockey Youth National Teams and brings her experience as a teammate and competitor to everything she delves into. Having been a column writer for the Cavalier Daily’s Sports Section, her passion for sports and journalism merge to provide a unique opportunity to support the work of student athletes as they express their own stories and journeys.
